LOBO Hot and Spicy Fried Chicken Flour (แป้งทอดไก่รสเผ็ด โลโบ, paeng thot kai rot phet loo-boo) is a pre-seasoned hot and spicy fried chicken batter mix from LOBO, one of Thailand’s most widely distributed cooking mix brands. Thai-style fried chicken (gai thot, ไก่ทอด) is one of the most popular everyday Thai street food dishes — characterised by a thin, crispy, and intensely seasoned coating rather than the thick, heavy batter of Western-style fried chicken. The hot and spicy variant adds chilli heat to the characteristic Thai fried chicken seasoning blend, producing a crispy, aromatic, and spicy coating suited to those who prefer a bolder, more punchy fried chicken. The mix is pre-seasoned with the correct blend of spices and chilli, requiring only the addition of water and the chicken pieces to produce a consistent result.
