Moo krata (หมูกระทะ) is the Thai BBQ hotpot format where meat is grilled on the domed central surface while broth or soup simmers in the surrounding moat simultaneously — and solid brass is the traditional preferred material for this style of cooking, valued for its superior heat retention and even heat distribution. First-time use

1. Wash thoroughly with a scouring pad and dishwashing liquid, then rinse with clean water.
2. Pour boiling water over the pan to rinse once more. The pan is now ready to use.

Cleaning and maintenance

1. Clean with a scouring pad and dishwashing liquid after each use. For stubborn stains, soak in hot water with dishwashing liquid for approximately 30 minutes.
2. Dry completely immediately after washing. Place under direct sunlight before storing in a bag to minimise air exposure. Do not air-dry naturally.
