Jarome Green Curry Paste (พริกแกงเขียวหวาน จะโหรม, phrìk gæng kǐao wǎan ja-hòom) is a traditional Thai green curry paste (gaeng keow wan) from the Jarome brand. Unlike the Healthy Thai Green Curry Paste which is formulated without animal-derived ingredients, the Jarome version is a standard (non-vegetarian) green curry paste that includes shrimp paste (kapi) in the base — the traditional formulation that delivers the deeper, more complex umami characteristic of authentic Thai restaurant-style green curry. The paste is built on fresh green chillies, lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime peel, and Thai herbs, with shrimp paste providing the fermented depth that distinguishes it from plant-based alternatives.
