Healthy Thai Red Curry Paste (เครื่องแกงเผ็ดสูตรเจ, khrêəang gæng phèt sùut jee) is the same vegetarian Thai red curry paste as the 300 g jar — formulated without fish sauce or shrimp paste, with a bold base of dried red chillies, lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime peel, and Thai herbs — supplied in a larger 500 g jar suited to families, frequent cooks, and light foodservice use. Red curry paste (gaeng phet) is hotter and more intensely spiced than green or massaman curry, and this plant-based version delivers that same bold heat profile using vegetarian seasonings.
